Freya Greenwood is a mixed media artist, poet, and wanderer in the fourth dimension. Their work explores the intersections of identity, spirit, and the world around them — weaving together mental health, spirituality, and queer experience through watercolour, collage, poetry, and video.
A self-taught artist and author, their main influences are old movies, riot grrrl culture, anime, and Lynchian drama. It loves Stevie Nicks and cheesy science fiction, and their work reflects a desire to embody the weird and wonderful.
Their work is deeply vulnerable, colourful, and vibrant, with an emphasis on personal sovereignty.
